General Terms and Conditions for Samsara Villa Rentals (Revised 2006):

Shibumi Villa Management employs a full time onsite General Manager, Khun Juree, who will act as a dedicated guest relations officer for the client. It is our standard policy to have Khun Juree contact the guest in advance of his visit, and offer to coordinate a broad menu of Thai and Western dishes to suit his tastes. She can also arrange for the villa to be stocked in advance with any special food and beverage items. Further, she can organize almost any special requests he may have - such as car or boat rentals, golf tee time reservations, etc. Airport pick-up and drop-off service is complimentary.

A car and/or driver can be secured upon request. Rates vary depending on the sort of vehicle rented, but generally speaking most cars and 4x4s rent in the range of THB 1,200 - 1,800 per day. Cost of a full time driver is THB 1,000 per day.

The villas are equipped with broadband wireless internet access which is complimentary. Food and beverage purchased at the local market is charged to our guests at cost + VAT + 15% to cover delivery expenses.

Daily laundry service (that is, sheets and towels) is complimentary and a small amount of personal laundry can be done at the villa. Shibumi can arrange for dry cleaning and laundry for personal items at cost + VAT + 15% to cover delivery charges.

Check-in is normally 2:00 p.m. and check-out is 11:00 a.m., but Shibumi Villa Management can accommodate alternate arrangements under most circumstances.

The villas' telephone service permits local calls, but it is not configured to dial internationally. Cell phone reception throughout the Estate is excellent.

The guest is financially responsible for any misuse of the property which may include but is not limited to damage and missing inventory.

Normally, a 30% deposit is due at the time of the reservation. Cancellations 45 days or more prior to arrival will result in forfeiture of the deposit. Cancellations within 45 days prior to arrival will result in forfeiture of the full amount of the booking.

We require a security deposit per villa of USD 1,500 for every week of rental - up to a maximum of USD 6,000. Minimum security deposit is no less than USD 1,500 - even for stays of less than a week.
